ELIZABETH & COLIN

Play Video

Today I give myself to you in marriage. You cannot possess me, for I belong to myself. But while we both wish it, I give you that which is mine to give.”

When Elizabeth and Colin imagined their dream Irish Elopement they could hardly have pictured a more dramatic scene than Elizabeth’s own dad playing the Bagpipes at the edge of the Cliffs of Moher, the sound of them reverberating all around them, through them. The cliff’s edge itself drawing a line; the end of an old life, and the start of a new one. Elizabeth & Colin eloped to Ireland and were married in an intimate Celtic ceremony. Their hands were bound in the ancient Irish tradition of handfasting. Blessed by rare blue Irish skies, agus ní raibh aon scammall sa speair.

After the ceremony the couple continued on to celebrate their love with close family and friends in the traditional setting of Vaughan’s Pub in Kilfenora where no doubt, the guinness flowed long into the night.

Testimonial

“Colm and Ard Ri Film did a fantastic job documenting our wedding. We traveled from New York for the fairytale wedding of our dreams and one thing we were sure we needed was a videographer to capture it all. One reason, selfishly for us to enjoy countless times and second, for our friends and family who were not able to make the trip, to feel as if they were there as well. Colm did just that with a cheery smile and working seamlessly with our photographer and vendors alike. The finished product was more beautiful than we could have imagined and with the day flying so fast, capturing on film to re-live the day was perfect. I could not recommend Ard Ri Film more for your special day.”
